I know ive posted this before but it still doesnt seem real. 

I didn’t tell many people that someone very  important to me was very ill because talking about it made it seem more real and I was secretly praying for a miracle. Unfortunately no amount of praying and wishing worked; this weekend I lost someone incredibly special to me and my family. 

❤️Godmother- someone that pledges to teach their godchild to live a Christian life, I’m not sure we had many conversations about religion (if any) but I do know that you were more than a Godmother to me.

❤️You were someone that lived life to the full; off in Genevieve on your travels around Europe with Uncle Michael. I’m so glad that you had that special time together and thankful that Uncle Michael was there to make sure you got the best care.

❤️You had a sense of adventure and fun; enjoying different cultures, wildlife, nature and of course wine! I know you were gutted when the Doctor said no more wine! 

❤️You were kind, compassionate and caring; always having time for anyone that needed it. You were a beautiful person inside and out.

❤️You were an amazing friend to mum for 58 years with so many crazy and happy memories (and stories) that you created together.

❤️We didn’t get to see each other often with living so far apart, and that’s been difficult these last few months, because there’s nothing I wanted more than to be there for you and Uncle Micheal.

❤️I will treasure every memory I have of you over the years. You’ve been there for me from the moment I was born, I am thankful to have had you in my life, and I appreciate beyond words everything you and Uncle Michael have done for us over the years.

❤️You’re more than a Godmother; you’re my Auntie, my family, my friend and my guardian angel. And you still are my guardian angel, because angels never leave us, they’re always by our side.
